Dawn Woodard Captures the 2026 Bluegrass Women’s Senior Amateur Championship

The Bluegrass Women’s Senior Amateur Championship returned to The Woodford Club in 2026, bringing another outstanding field of senior women golfers to Kentucky for three days of competition, camaraderie and championship golf.

Congratulations to Dawn Woodard, the 2026 Bluegrass Women’s Senior Amateur Champion! Dawn delivered an impressive performance to earn the championship and take home one of the event’s most distinctive traditions — the Bluegrass Women’s Senior Amateur bourbon barrel trophy.

Now in its second year, the championship continues to grow into something truly special. What makes the week memorable goes well beyond the scores. It’s the friendships formed, the competitive spirit, the sportsmanship and the shared love of the game that make this event such a great fit for The Woodford Club and Kentucky’s Bluegrass region.

We are grateful to every golfer who traveled to Versailles to compete and to everyone who helped make the 2026 championship a success. It was a privilege to welcome this talented group of women back to The Woodford Club.
